Plagiarism policy

The Agrarian Bulletin of the Black Sea Journal accepts original articles that were not previously published in other editions. If plagiarism is detected, the article will be returned to the author without consideration for publication in the journal. In the event of any conflict between the journal and the author, the editorial board shall be guided by the standards of publication ethics set by the Committee on Publication Ethics. More information at: http://publicationethics.org/

If the author does not accept the reviewer's remarks, the editorial board considers such conflicts and makes a final decision. If this decision does not satisfy the author, he (she) has the right to refuse to publish the material.

The responsibilities of the authors, reviewers, and editors of the journal are set out below.

The responsibility of the authors

By submitting an article to the Agrarian Bulletin of the Black Sea, the author or a team of authors ensures that the article is an original work that has not been published before and has not been published in another edition. They also ensure that opinions and ideas that are not owned by the authors themselves are accompanied by appropriate references and / or quotations. The author has no right to publish materials that embody the results of the same research in different editions or collections. Such publications are traditionally perceived as violating the rules of public ethics. If such material is found, the author will be denied the publication and the article itself will be returned. Authors of original research should provide detailed information about the work performed and the objective justification of its importance. The above materials should be consistently reflected in the article. The materials should contain a sufficient amount of requisites and sources necessary for users to make references to scientific work. Falsification of scientific results, fraud and publication of deliberately false statements are manifestations of unethical behavior and will lead to refusal to publish the material or to return the article received.

Responsibility of the reviewers

Reviewers of the journal "Agrarian Bulletin of the Black Sea" do their work on a voluntary basis. As most of them work full time, reviewing articles for a magazine is not a priority. Reviewers have the right to refuse to review material in their own specialization if current work and / or other obligations prevent them from writing the review in a timely and appropriate manner. Reviewers also have the right to refuse to review material that they do not consider to be of sufficient qualification. Reviewers who have assumed the responsibilities are required to submit their reviews within three weeks. They should refuse reviewing if, at any stage in their work, reviewers find themselves lacking experience in writing a review or in the event of a potential conflict of interest when writing a review (for example, due to co-authorship, competition, or other affiliation with any of authors, institutions, or companies related to the submitted material).

Specific information obtained by a reviewer during a blind review should be kept confidential and not be used in the self-interest of the reviewer. Any material received for review should be kept confidential, not disclosed or discussed with third parties, except as authorized by the journal editor. Reviewers should create their own reviews based on the principle of maximum objectivity and refrain from personal criticism of the authors. Reviewers should clearly formulate their opinions, explain and justify any recommendations made. Reviewers should strive to provide constructive and specific help that will allow the author or group of authors to improve their own material, even if the latter does not consider it to be publishable. In their reviews, reviewers should note previously published works of a related subject that have not been specified by the author or group of authors in their material, as well as any cases where references to sources have not been properly drafted. Any occurrence of significant overlaps between the text of the material submitted for review and previously published works that are known to the reviewers should be reported to the latest editorial board. Reviewers should also inform the editorial board of any doubts they may have about the ethical content of the reviewed material.

Editors' responsibility

The editors of the Agrarian Bulletin of the Black Sea region are fully responsible for the decision to publish the articles in the journal and are guided by this publication policy, defined by the editorial board and enshrined in the requirements of the legislation applicable in case of defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. To make the decision to publish the material, the editor has the right to consult with the deputy editor and other members of the editorial board and reviewers. Editors should evaluate the material based solely on its intellectual content, regardless of race or nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship or political beliefs of the authors. Editors have no right to disclose any information about submitted material to anyone other than authors, reviewers, and prospective reviewers, and in certain cases members of the journal's editorial board.

In addition, editors should ensure that the process of blind review is fair, without revealing the identity of the author or team of reviewers and vice versa. In evaluating the material submitted for publication, editors, in addition to applying the standard requirements for evaluating an article, the quality of its presentation and its scientific value, should make sure that the material can cause minimal ethical harm. Editors should determine whether the positive contribution of the article outweighs the level of ethical harm that this study may cause in each case.
