Abstract

Four experimental groups of animals were formed according to the results of the study of conditioned-reflex reaction. We determined the feed additive “Germatsink” effectiveness for the correction of mineral metabolism in cows with different types of higher nervous activity (HNA). After the feed additive administration, the calcium content in serum in cows with different types of HNA did not change significantly during the study period, however there was a tendency of its increasing (within 3.6-5.3%). In cows with SU and weak type of HNA, the content of inorganic phosphorus in serum before the experiment was 8.3% (p <0.05) and 14.0% (p <0.01), respectively, lower than that in animals with SBM type of HNA, whereas in cows with strong types of HNA did not differ significantly. It should be noted that in 10 and 45 days of studies in animals of SU type of HNA, the magnesium content in blood cells was significantly lower by 12.2% (p <0.05) and 8.2% (p <0.01) respectively of indicators of cows with SBM type of HNA, whereas in 30 days after giving the feed additive “Germatsink” this difference was insignificant.
