Antibiotics are undoubtedly central to modern medicine, helping to treat serious infections and prevent complications. However, their misuse generates serious problems, including antibiotic resistance, microbiome disruption, and side effects. The problem of rational selection and use of antibiotics needs to be addressed immediately due to the growing threat to global health.
