The article provides data that the main factor provoking the development of pyotraumatic dermatitis in dogs is the lack of regular skin and coat care, as well as the presence of ectoparasitic diseases. The most informative methods of diagnosing pyotraumatic dermatitis in dogs are a clinical examination of the skin and its derivatives, dermatological tests that reveal signs of ectoparasitosis. The most effective method of treatment is the use of drugs - Janus kinase inhibitors on a local background and systemic antibacterial therapy.
