Currently, there are trends towards an increase in consumer demand for beekeeping products, which in turn requires the use of durable and relatively cheap materials for beekeeping equipment and hives. The foundation, which bees use as a basis for building combs, must also be of high quality. Despite the fact that man presented artificially created dwellings to the honey bee, nevertheless, questions remain regarding the compliance of the parameters of the wax buildings, in particular the combs that form the nest, with the natural standard.
